CARE After School Program - CARE 2025-2026: ChurchillCSD Students CARE is a high quality after school program for students in Kindergarten through 5th-grade that provides homework assistance, tutoring, and recreational activities in a safe and structured environment. Participants enjoy games, crafts, snacks, and swimming at the Churchill Aquatic Center.At CARE, we help your child succeed!Fees:$200.00/month for all participants.- There is a $5.00 one-time registration/membership fee per child, required to complete full program membership- The monthly fee includes all after-school days, Fridays, and Fall Fun Camp. - Children participating in Winter/Spring Fun Camp must register separately for those programs.- You are only required to pay for the 1st month at this time and payment for each month will be due prior to the first day of the month.- There is an additional child discount that will be applied at checkout for those signing up two or more children.- Financial assistance programs available through eligibility in the Northern Nevada Children’s Cabinet program. Churchill County Aquatic Center Jr. Wave Academy - Session 3 Jr. Wave Academy Jr Wave Academy is a new after school program on scheduled Fridays for children ages 10-14 years old held by the Churchill County Aquatic Center.With games and skill exercises, these youth will learn leadership skills, water safety, and life guarding skills preparing them to become future Jr. Lifeguards.We will introduce water safety, rescue skills, physical fitness, and the duties of a professional Life Guard, serving as a stepping stone for future careers in aquatics by building foundational knowledge in areas like CPR, first aid, swimming, and surrounding awareness.

Churchill County Aquatic Center Jr. Wave Academy - Session 3 Jr. Wave Academy Jr Wave Academy is a new after school program on scheduled Fridays for children ages 10-14 years old held by the Churchill County Aquatic Center.With games and skill exercises, these youth will learn leadership skills, water safety, and life guarding skills preparing them to become future Jr. Lifeguards.We will introduce water safety, rescue skills, physical fitness, and the duties of a professional Life Guard, serving as a stepping stone for future careers in aquatics by building foundational knowledge in areas like CPR, first aid, swimming, and surrounding awareness.

SUMFUN Summer Day Camp - 2026 SUMFUN Summer Day Camp BEFORE REGISTERING, PLEASE NOTE: • Participants cannot be registered for single Weeks 1, 2, or 11. These are the busiest weeks of SUMFUN and we are unable to accommodate excess campers outside of regular attendees on these weeks.• Participants are not permitted to register for Field Trip Days or Wild Island Trip weeks only. For safety reasons and to accommodate full-session participants, those who have registered for only trips are subject to being removed from the roster and refunded. • Do not pay for any weeks past June at this time. For our fiscal year/accounting system, July/August payments should not be made prior to 6/30/2026.PROGRAM INFORMATIONChurchill County Parks and Recreation is excited to once again offer SUMFUN Summer Day Camp Program. SUMFUN is a full summer of day camp running June through August. Each week includes a theme, lunch, snacks, games, activities, crafts, field trips and swimming. Eligibility: To register, children must have been enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade for the 2025-2026 school year. (Children who are entering into Kindergarten for the 26-27 school year may be eligible to attend on a trial basis IF they have a sibling enrolled in the program AND there are any open spaces on the roster. Requirements to Attend on Trial Basis: Must be 5 years of age, Proof of Pre-K enrollment for 25-26 school year, must be fully potty trained and able to handle the full day of activities of the SUMFUN program.)Pricing:• Membership Fee: $20 (includes a SUMFUN T-shirt, required for field trips)• Weekly Price: $90• Field Trip Add-On: $25/trip $40/Wild Island Trip• Drop-in: $25 per day, pending spacePre-registration for each week is required. To register for weeks of SUMFUN, you must first register your child for a SUMFUN Membership, under the "Membership" tab. This is where you will fill out the program paperwork, disclaimers, and pay the $20.00 membership fee that includes the t-shirts required for field trip days.Program Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.Activities:• Thursday field trips will have an added fee of $25 to cover the cost of transportation and entry into the location. Food Services:The Cottage School is a designated site for the Summer Food Services Program in partnership with Chartwells this year. Children enrolled in SUMFUN will have the option to use the food services program. As a pick-up site, any children from the community are eligible to pick up meals from the site, children must be present to pick-up.IMPORTANT NOTES & REMINDERS:• To guarantee your child's space you must pay for the SUMFUN membership AND select all of the weeks that you plan on them attending through the program registration. • Payments can be made online with a credit card or online check (transaction fees will apply to online payments) OR you may pay with cash or check to avoid transaction fees.• You are only required to pay for one week at this time as a deposit for the summer, during the summer you must pay for each week by the Friday prior.• Anyone who is currently using Children's Cabinet or other programs can call the office if you have any questions or need any assistance with registration.For any questions regarding the SUMFUN program contact:Beth Webb, 775-427-5668 elizabeth.webb@churchillcountynv.gov Important Links/Documents:Click here to view SUMFUN/CARE Program PoliciesClick here to view the SUMFUN/CARE Google Calendar
