SUMFUN Summer Day Camp - 2026 SUMFUN Summer Day Camp We have temporarily opened registration. BEFORE REGISTERING, PLEASE NOTE: • Participants cannot be registered for single Weeks 1, 2, or 11. These are the busiest weeks of SUMFUN , and we are unable to accommodate excess campers outside of regular attendees during these weeks.• Participants are not permitted to register for Field Trip Days or Wild Island Trip weeks only. For safety reasons and to accommodate full-session participants, those who have registered for only trips are subject to being removed from the roster and refunded. • Do not pay for any weeks past June at this time. For our fiscal year/accounting system, July/August payments should not be made prior to 6/30/2026.PROGRAM INFORMATIONChurchill County Parks and Recreation is excited to offer SUMFUN Summer Day Camp Program once again. SUMFUN is a full summer of day camp running June through August. Each week includes a theme, lunch, snacks, games, activities, crafts, field trips and swimming. Eligibility: To register, children must have been enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade for the 2025-2026 school year. (Children who are entering into Kindergarten for the 26-27 school year may be eligible to attend on a trial basis IF they have a sibling enrolled in the program AND there are any open spaces on the roster. Requirements to Attend on Trial Basis: Must be 5 years of age, Proof of Pre-K enrollment for 25-26 school year, must be fully potty trained and able to handle the full day of activities of the SUMFUN program.)Pricing:• Membership Fee: $20 (includes a SUMFUN T-shirt, required for field trips)• Weekly Price: $90• Field Trip Add-On: $25/trip $40/Wild Island Trip• Drop-in: $25 per day, pending spacePre-registration for each week is required. Pickleball Summer League - Summer League 2026 Summer Pickleball LeagueJoin us this summer for an exciting Pickleball Summer League running from June 16 through August 13 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. This league is open to participants ages 15 and up, and players of all skill levels are welcome.Whether you are new to pickleball or an experienced player, this is a great opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy friendly competition. Players will be paired with a random partner each night, so no teams are selected ahead of time. This format encourages fun, fairness, and the chance to play with a variety of participants throughout the season.

This league is open to participants ages 15 and up, and players of all skill levels are welcome.Whether you are new to pickleball or an experienced player, this is a great opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy friendly competition. Players will be paired with a random partner each night, so no teams are selected ahead of time. This league is open to participants ages 15 and up, and players of all skill levels are welcome.Whether you are new to pickleball or an experienced player, this is a great opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy friendly competition. Players will be paired with a random partner each night, so no teams are selected ahead of time. Food Services:The Cottage School is a designated site for the Summer Food Services Program in partnership with Chartwells this year. Children enrolled in SUMFUN will have the option to use the food services program.
