CARE After School Program - CARE 2023-2024: ChurchillCSD Students ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS AUGUST 1STIncoming registered kindergarten students will have an orientation night to meet the staff and tour the building on August 17th and their first day to start option will be Friday, August 18th.CARE is a high quality after school program for students in Kindergarten through 5th-grade that provides homework assistance, tutoring, and recreational activities in a safe and structured environment. Churchill County Aquatic Center offers exceptional swim courses and our instructors are certified American Red Cross professionals that have been trained to teach your child the skills to become safe and proficient swimmers. No Hill Hundred Century Bike Tour - 2023 No Hill Hundred: Century Ride (100 miles) This ride is hosted by Churchill County Parks & Recreation. The event is unique in that it lives up to its name - there are no hills and it is a perfect ride for beginners and a great ride to close out the season for veteran riders! Spend the day cycling the prehistoric Lahontan Lake bottom that is now the Desert Oasis of Nevada.
The tour is broken down into a 30-mile, 60-mile, and 100-mile tour, accommodating all types of riders. The ride is fully supported and includes several stops, event shirts, gift bags, in-ride lunch for metric and century riders, and a post-event meal for all riders.Where: Start at 3C Event Complex, Check in at The Barrel House | Fallon, NevadaCheck-in/Departure: 7:00 - 8:30 a.m.All levels of riders are welcome! Churchill Aquatic Swim Lessons - Fall Session 1: Team Starfish (Parent and Me) Taught by our American Red Cross Lifeguards Your child can learn water safety and improve swimming strokes for recreational and competitive swimming year round. Churchill County Aquatic Center offers exceptional swim courses and our instructors are certified American Red Cross professionals that have been trained to teach your child the skills to become safe and proficient swimmers. CARE After School Program - CARE 2023-2024: Oasis Academy Students ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS AUGUST 1STIncoming registered kindergarten students will have an orientation night to meet the staff and tour the building on August 17th and their first day to start option will be Friday, August 18th.CARE is a high quality after school program for students in Kindergarten through 5th-grade that provides homework assistance, tutoring, and recreational activities in a safe and structured environment. Participants enjoy games, crafts, snacks, and swimming at the Churchill Aquatic Center.At CARE, we help your child succeed!Fees:$200.00/month for all participants.- There is a $5.00 one-time registration/membership fee per child, required to complete full program membership- The fee includes all after-school days, Fridays, and Fall Fun Camp. - Children participating in Winter/Spring Fun Camp must register separately for those programs.- You are only required to pay for the 1st month at this time and payment for each month will be due prior to the first day of the month.- There is an additional child discount that will be applied at checkout for those signing up two or more children.- Financial assistance programs available through eligibility in the Northern Nevada Children’s Cabinet program. Registration:Children must be enrolled into the CARE Membership to register for the program.When registering, you must select all months your child will be attending the program. If they will attend the entire year, select each month to ensure their space is saved.Daily drop-ins are permitted dependent on space available.
